La Marquesa Golf, one of the most historic courses on the Costa Blanca, was the scene of an exciting golf tournament that attracted 158 passionate players, divided into 20 teams. The event, held on April 7, 2024, stood out for having two “shooting” starts, one of them at 08:00 with 96 participants, and a second at 1:15 p.m., in which there were 62 participants.
The tournament, part of the Valencian Community International Match League, offered an exciting challenge on all 18 holes of the course. The players faced each other in teams in the match play mode, which counted towards the final to be held in October. One of the moments that stood out the most for the participants was when playing the 16th hole, an exact replica of the TPC Sawgrass on the Florida course (where the famous “The Players” tournament is held).
The entire La Marquesa Golf Staff expressed their delight at receiving another year of this great test of the Valencian Community. “We are delighted to have welcomed so many golf enthusiasts to our historic course.” “The passion and sportsmanship among the players made this event truly special.”
